This Year's Theme

In recognition of America 250, artists are encouraged to include work that explores the idea of “home.” This may be interpreted broadly and personally: home as a place, a memory, a community, a culture, a landscape, or a sense of belonging. Artists are invited to reflect on what home means to them within the American experience, whether through celebration, reflection, complexity, or quiet observation. While themed submissions are encouraged, they are not required for participation.
